One machine, two personalities

Since its 2024 launch, the Guerrilla 450 has established itself as an urban roadster featuring the Himalayan's engine, but without the expedition weight or the 21" wheel. For 2026, Royal Enfield is adding the sharper APEX variant. While the standard Guerrilla remains upright and versatile, the APEX targets riders who want a punchier, sportier feel. The launch also coincides with the brand's milestone anniversary: 125 years of Royal Enfield and 125,000 motorcycles produced on the Sherpa platform.

What the APEX adds

The main change is in the riding position. The aluminum handlebars are positioned 56 mm lower and 57 mm further forward, leaning the rider into a more active, sporty stance. Additionally, the APEX gets road-focused Vredestein Centauro ST tires for better grip on asphalt, a removable pillion seat cowl, a color-matched headlight cowl, rim decals, and a small flyscreen. A new software feature is Ride Mode Retention, which allows the bike to remember the last selected mode—Street or Sport—even after the ignition is turned off.

The engine remains unchanged. It is still the liquid-cooled 452cc Sherpa single-cylinder producing 40 hp and 40 Nm, with ride-by-wire throttle and four riding modes. The APEX is not about more power, but about how the bike handles and how it positions you.

New colors

The APEX comes in two exclusive shades: Apex Red and Apex Black. The standard Guerrilla now receives new Twilight Blue and Shadow Ash colors. Either way, the striking naked silhouette with its exposed engine and circular Tripper Dash display remains.

Who is the Guerrilla 450 APEX for?

This version is for the rider who wants to get the most out of an urban roadster in the corners and appreciates a sportier riding position. With 29.4 kW, the Guerrilla fits within the A2 license limit, making it accessible even to less experienced riders. It belongs to the Royal Enfield roadster family; check out our roadster and café racer models.

Availability and pricing
