The Motorcycle Story
A cruiser isn't about speed. It's about how little effort it takes to move forward.

The Meteor 350 is a lightweight cruiser and the first machine of its kind that Royal Enfield has built on the J-platform. It features low geometry, a seat height of 765 mm, and wide handlebars within reach of relaxed shoulders. It shares its powertrain with the Classic 350: an air-cooled 349cc single-cylinder engine with a characteristic rhythm, tuned here for a calm cruising pace. With 15 kW of power, it fits perfectly into the A2 license category.

The cruiser character is in every detail: a long wheelbase, a fuel tank with a flat top line, and separate seats for the rider and passenger. These are elements that make the bike a machine for touring, not for chasing performance.

The Meteor is for the rider who chooses the longer, quieter road instead of a shortcut. For a Sunday trip along the D6 to Karlovy Vary, an evening ride along the Vltava, or a two-hour excursion through the Elbe lowlands. A cruiser that doesn't stress you out with speed. Those who travel further and more often should look at Super Meteor 650. For those who prefer a classic silhouette, there is the Classic 350.

An engine for a relaxed pace, not for rushing

349cc J-platform single-cylinder engine, the same motor found in the Classic 350 and Bullet 350. It is tuned slightly differently for the Meteor: taller gearing, smoother performance, and a character built for long distances. Torque across a wide rev range. No need to shift, no need to rush.

Cruiser geometry

Twin-downtube frame with a low center of gravity. Telescopic front forks and rear shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The 1,400 mm wheelbase is longer than the Classic 350, and the 765 mm seat height is among the lowest in the entire Royal Enfield lineup. 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, with a curb weight of 191 kg. Geometry designed for a comfortable riding position and stability at highway speeds.

STORY · HERITAGE

Low seat, long wheelbase

The Meteor 350 is built on classic cruiser geometry: a low seat, a long wheelbase, and handlebars within easy reach of relaxed shoulders. This gives the bike a planted, composed feel, even at higher speeds. Highway stability is a feature that other 350cc motorcycles simply don't offer.

DETAIL · CRAFTSMANSHIP

Tall gearing, smooth power delivery

The five-speed gearbox features long gear ratios. Second gear handles city traffic, fourth covers back roads, and fifth maintains highway speeds without any stress. The clutch is light, and shifting is quiet. The engine is tuned for smooth riding: no need for high revs or unnecessary downshifting.

Comfort for long stretches

A wide, individual seat, an upright riding position, and calm chassis geometry. The Meteor is a bike you can ride for hours without fatigue. The passenger gets their own seat, dedicated footpegs, and a backrest. Touring for two.

RIDE · FEELINGS

A trip to the coast, not a commute to work

The typical Meteor owner rides for the joy of the journey, not just the destination. A Sunday trip to the countryside, a summer ride along the river, or a weekend getaway for two at a mountain cabin. Its cruiser character sets it apart from the Classic: while the Classic thrives on the atmosphere of winding back roads, the Meteor lives for the long, open stretches.
