The Classic has grown into a twin-cylinder
The Classic silhouette has been a part of Royal Enfield since 1948. The Classic 650 arrived in 2024 as an answer to riders who love the character of the Classic but wanted more performance. The same proportions on a larger scale, the same visual language, the same DNA, this time with a twin-cylinder engine. It is not a new model, but a logical continuation of the Classic lineage.

Same visual language, different proportions
Teardrop tank, round headlight with a chrome nacelle, deep fenders, a solo seat with spring suspension, and 19/18-inch wire-spoke wheels. Everything is identical to the Classic 350—just on a larger scale to match the twin platform. The details reveal the continuity: hand-painted badges, authentic chrome plating, and ribbed side covers.

A twin-cylinder in a mature interpretation
The twin-cylinder engine, Classic style: a richer sound and a smoother tune. Of the entire 650 range, the Classic has the most distinctive personality. No sporty accent like the Continental GT, no cruiser-like languor like the Super Meteor. A twin-cylinder engine that you can see, hear, and feel.

A step up for Classic riders
The typical Classic 650 owner already owns or has ridden a Classic 350. They are looking for an upgrade that preserves the emotions of the Classic while adding long-distance capabilities. It is for the rider who has outgrown the Classic 350 but does not want to switch to the sportier Continental GT or the cruiser-style Super Meteor. The Classic 650 is a conscious choice for continuity.
